Exactly five years after the demise of Dr. Samson Alade Balogun Jp, the Elegbeda of Egbeda Land Prince Jimoh Hammed Orelope emerges Oba elect of Egbedaland.

This as confirmed by the approval of Lagos State Executive Council on 13th of July, 2020, the Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon and his cabinet presented approval a letter to prince Jimoh Hammed Orelope as the Oba Elect of Egbeda Kingdom.

The letter was presented on Monday August 10, 2020 during the Local Government Executive meeting held at the Secretariat of the local government. Jelili congratulated the incoming oba; Prince Jimoh while the reigning Oba of Shasha Kingdom, Oba Babatunde Akinlowo 1 prayed for him.

In his remarks Prince Hammed Orelope thanked all for their unflinching supports while accepting his nomination.
